the PROCESS

WAK TOK assists in selecting the ideal CARE POD model and determining its optimal placement on the property. Overseeing the entire process from design to construction, WAK TOK ensures efficiency at every stage. With a streamlined approach, CARE PODS are turn-key ready faster than traditional residential builds.

Clients are guided through a seamless process to bring the CARE POD to life:

  1. Site Assessment & Planning: A thorough site assessment and code analysis determine the placement of the unit, ensuring both privacy and a safe connection to the main house. Design considerations may include a separate entrance, a shared patio and garden, or an easy-access pathway to the main house. Adjustments to the plans may be made to accommodate site-specific conditions while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

  2. Pricing, Contractor Selection & Permitting: Cost estimates are gathered from local partner contractors, and a contractor is selected for construction. All necessary building permits are obtained before construction begins.

  3. Construction: Site preparation is completed, and construction proceeds in accordance with the approved design. Utility connections to the main house are made in the final stage. Once construction is finished and the final inspection by the local jurisdiction is approved, the unit is move-in ready.
